Privacy notice

Who we are. Boldwell Digital is the data controller for the details you give us, and we handle personal data in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Contact: info@boldwell.co.uk.

What we collect. What you put in a form or tell us: your name, business name, phone, email, business address or area, website or profile links, and your message. For prospective clients we also keep basic business details from public sources (business name, address, phone, website, Google profile) and notes of when we spoke.

Why, and the lawful basis.

• To prepare your free audit and reply to you: legitimate interests (you asked), and your consent where you’ve ticked a box.
• To provide services you’ve bought, and send invoices: contract.
• To keep tax and accounting records: legal obligation.
• To contact businesses about our services: legitimate interests. We don’t send unsolicited marketing emails or texts to sole traders or partnerships without consent, and we screen phone numbers against the TPS and CTPS.
• Occasional tips by email: only if you’ve opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who sees it. Only our team, plus the services we use to run the business: website hosting and email (Krystal Hosting Ltd, UK), [accounting app], [payment provider, e.g. Stripe or GoCardless]. We don’t sell or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it. Audit and contact requests that don’t lead to work: 12 months, then deleted. Client records: 6 years after our last invoice (for tax). If you ask us not to contact you, we keep just enough to make sure we don’t.

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, object to how we use them, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@boldwell.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator.

Cookies. This site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. [If analytics is added later, update this section and add a consent banner first.]
